- 2 tsp fennel seed (flavor)
- [q:1/8] tsp nutmeg (flavor)
- 2 tsp or a sprinkle of rose petals/buds (flavor)

Directions
- Combine dry ingredients in a 16-ounce container. Cover with just-boiled water.
- Steep for at least 1 hour, though several hours (or overnight or throughout the day) is even better.
- Strain, squeezing out all the mucilaginous and nutritious goodness, and sip hot or cold, plain or with added sweetener and creamer. Oat milk with honey or maple syrup is quite nice.

- 6 raspberries
- 6 orange slices
Directions
- Add tea leaves or tea bags to a glass pitcher. Top with the water.
- Set pitcher in the fridge. Steep up to 12 hours.
- Strain out tea leaves or tea bags using a fine-mesh strainer.
- When ready to serve, pour tea into 2 tall glasses. Add 3 raspberries and 3 oranges slices to each glass.

- 1 Tbsp roasted cacao nibs (or 1 to 2 teaspoons powdered cacao)
- 1 tsp maca powder (preferably gelatinized)
- 8 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 tsp dry ginger cut/sifted root (chips) (or 1 to 2 tsp grated fresh, or [q:1/2] tsp dry powder)

- [q:1/8] tsp ground black
- pepper for glass rim
- 1 lemon wedge for glass rim
- 3 oz canned tomato juice
- 2 oz cucumber juice
- [q:1/2] oz lemon juice
- 4 dashes hot sauce
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- Pinch salt and ground black pepper
- Garnish, placed on one spear:
- 1 lemon wedge
- 3 cherry tomatoes
- 1 cucumber ribbon
- 1 jalapeño slice
Directions
- Combine the [q:1/8] teaspoon each of salt and pepper on a small plate. Wet half the rim of a highball glass using 1 lemon wedge. Dip wet part of rim in salt and pepper mixture. Set aside.
- In the larger part of a Boston shaker tin, combine juices, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and the pinch of salt and pepper.
- Put some large cubes of ice in the smaller tin of the Boston shaker, and cover with a julep strainer.
- Pour contents of larger tin into smaller tin through strainer. Strain mixture back into larger tin. Repeat five times.
- Fill rimmed glass with ice cubes. Strain mixture into glass. Add spear of lemon, tomatoes, cucumber, and jalapeño for garnish.

Directions
- Rinse cucumbers thoroughly. If you prefer a smoother, less vibrantly colored juice, peel the cucumbers, or leave skin on for added nutrients.
- Cut cucumbers into chunks, and place in blender. Add lemon juice, honey, and salt, if using. Blend until smooth.
- For clearer juice, strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher to remove pulp. Use a spoon to press down on the pulp to extract more juice.
- Pour juice into glasses over ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if using. Serve immediately. Leftover juice can be stored in refrigerator for up to 2 days but is best enjoyed fresh.
