Ingredients
  • [q:1/3] cup hemp seeds
  • [q:1/4] cup Medjool dates, pitted (about 3-4 large fruits)
  • 3 Tbsp goji berries
  • [q:1/4] cup cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs
  • 3 Tbsp (packed) minced fresh mint
  • 1 tsp wheatgrass powder*
  • [q:1/4] cup mashed avocado
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • Sweetener, to taste
  • 3 cups coconut ice**
Directions
  1. Blend all ingredients, except ice, until smooth.
  2. Add ice and blend once more until frosty.
  3. Taste, and adjust sweetness if desired.

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup berries of your choice (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries)

  • 4 frozen bananas

  • 1 Tbsp Organic Chia Seed
  • [q:1/2] cup Water
  • 1 Lemon's Juice
  • [q:1/2] cup Sugar
  • 32 Fl. Oz. Club Soda
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges to garnish
Directions
  1.  Combine chia seed and water in a bowl. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. Combine lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan and heat just until granules dissolve. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  3. Fill 4 tall glasses with ice. Divide chia seed and lemon syrup evenly between glasses. Top with club soda. Garnish with lemon wedges.

  • 1 pint glass jar with a plastic lid
  • [q:1/4] cup frozen blueberries
  • 3 heaping Tbsp dried hawthorn berries
  • 3 heaping Tbsp dried black elderberries
  • 2 heaping Tbsp dried rosehips
  • 2 heaping Tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
  • Unpasteurized raw apple cider vinegar
  • Honey, preferably raw and local
Directions
  1. Loosely fill jar with "berries" according to approximate measurements given, or to taste.
  2. Fill halfway with vinegar, the rest of the way with honey. Cover, shake vigorously.
  3. Shake daily for two weeks, then strain through a fine mesh strainer or clean cloth, squeezing out as much as possible.
  4. Enjoy one teaspoon to one tablespoon one to two times daily just before meals.

  • 2 cups unsweetened soymilk (or rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk or low-fat milk)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin, preferably organic
  • 1 cup frozen banana chunks, peeled
  • [q:1/2] cup fresh apple chunks, peeled
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice blend, OR
    • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
    • [q:1/2] tsp nutmeg
    • [q:1/2] tsp allspice
    • [q:1/2] tsp ginger
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp honey, optional to taste (or agave nectar, barley malt or rice syrup) 
Directions
  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Top with ground cinnamon.
  3. Serve immediately in tall glasses.

  • 4 parts grapefruit juice
  • 3 parts orange juice
  • 1 part apple juice
Directions
  1. Whisk apple, orange and grapefruit juices together.
  2. Serve over ice.

Hot Buttered Rum

Hot Buttered Rum

  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1 quart Vanilla Bean ice cream
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • [q:1/2] tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice (this is the secret and it seals the deal)
  • Spiced Rum or Dark Rum
Directions

The Flavoring:

  1. Melt butter and stir in the powdered sugar and brown sugar. Simmer until all are melted and mixed well.
  2. Add ice cream and mix well.
  3. Add Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Chinese 5 Spice.
  4. Remove from heat.

The Beverage:

  1. Boil water.
  2. Add desired amount of Rum to your mug and fill with boiling water.
  3. Add a large Tbsp of the pre-made mix and stir- taste and add more, if desired.

Left over flavor mixture can be stored in the freezer. This can be made as a non-alcoholic beverage by simply using more water instead of Rum.
