Maple Syrup

If you’re looking for something tasty, healthy, and sweet, grab a bottle of maple syrup, or try a dash of maple sugar.

Maple syrup still contains trace amounts of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B2, B5, and B6. Syrup also contains water, calcium, potassium, and smaller amounts of protein, magnesium, and zinc. Maple sugar, a dehydrated and crystallized version of the syrup, is considered to be a healthy sugar alternative. This sugar is at least twice as sweet as granulated sugar and has a similar maple flavor to syrup.
