A fantastic new graphic from The Washington Post has served as a reminder to those of us in the office why so many of us have standup desk setups.

Most people know in a vague way that sitting all day is bad for our health. This graphic makes it all too clear: Our muscles go to mush, our spines become less flexible and we risk disk damage, we can get heart disease or diabetes, and we're less productive because of brain fog.

Great.

You can download a PDF of the graphic here. If you need a reminder to get up and move, or stand, put it up on the wall!

And read up on ways to retrofit your office here.
