That’s the surprising share of American adults who take dietary supplements. Vitamins and minerals continue to lead the way. Women have consistently been more likely than men to take supplements, but that gap is closing. A new survey from the nonprofit Council for Responsible Nutrition found that the vast majority of supplement users are confident in their choices.
